  • Explorations in the Fundamentals of Nutrition

This workshop teaches the basics and fundamentals of nutrition. The nutrients, their sources, major actions, and potential roles they play in health are discussed. Weight control through diet planning, assessment of common dietary practices, and supplement usage is addressed. Common sense and applicable evidence-based information is presented.

 

  • Explorations in Sports Nutrition

This workshop teaches the basics and fundamentals of nutrition as it is related to sports performance and physical activity. Dietary manipulation for the purpose of enhancing athletic performance, and sports performance related supplement use are addressed. Common sense and applicable evidence-based information is presented.
